![]() ![]() Study Bunny: Alright, this app is cool and an alternative to forest app.Milki Pomodoro: It also looks good but free version sucks ass cause who the fuck uses a 25min pomodoro (and yes it is fixed, locked behind the paywall), Has leaderboard, but Forest also has the feature, so I don't think it's useful.Todoist: Simple ToDo List, and has a karma/reward system (+1 Karma for completing the task), simple to use, I am at 10k karma on it, been using it since 9th.FrameLapse : Ok I am a weird guy, so few weeks ago, I tried this method of using a timelapse app to create a 8 hours timelapse of me studying and it did motivate me to do so.My Advice: Alright works, great, It's useful when you are mindlessly scrolling and a sudden thought makes you realise that you are wasting time, so just put this on, and you won't be able to excess the phone until x hours have passed by.Only lacking feature is that you can't add apps in the whitelist, but their website says they will be adding it soon.I wasn't able to breach this app and kept the phone locked.Keep Me Out : Alright Hands down to this app.Alternate to this is OLauncher, which is also open-source and has all the features for free.Looks minimalist but steals the colorfulness of the phone and makes it look bland and boring (which helps you to not use phone).minimalist phone: Productivity : Launcher for the Phone.Tired of Seeing Ads on every single app? Go to settings and search "Private DNS", click on it and set it as "Private DNS provider hostname" and fill " " in the blank below it.My Advice: Similar to Minimalist Pomodoro, but has a friend's list so you can add anyone as a friend and see their activity (someone please add me as their friend on it also _ ).(idk how, but the mod that I downloaded, gave my email used real premium for free, I even checked it on my laptop and it said Premium,) Plant Real Trees but locked behind the premium features but use mod to unlock it.Coins can be used to buy new type trees which can be used in the garden. Earn coins as you study and plant virtual trees.Forest : Alternative to Minimalist Pomodoro Timer. My Advice: Looks great, and helpful to track where the time went in the day. Also has statistics, but those are locked behind the Premium Version. ![]() Looks good and good for people who love aesthtics.Minimalist Pomodoro Timer : Just a simple pomodoro timer. My Advice: Does work great, can also block websites.Found it helpful, since digital detox is annoying af due to being glitchy when in lock mode.Has Anti Uninstall but the downfall is that you can't open settings when the lock is on (well it makes sense cause you can uninstall any app from settings).StayFocused (or AppBlock, both of them are identical): Another App Blocker, but not as tough as Digital Detox. My Advice: Use this with Alarmy as I was unable to switch off the phone when the Lock was on, so that makes it a great combo to use with Alarmy.Has Anti Shutdown and Anti Uninstall so that you can't uninstall it when the Lock is on.Was I able to Bypass it? Yes, I even switched off the phone when the alarm was ringing.Other Features like Wake Up Check (basically alarm rings again in 5 minutes in order to ensure you are fully awake) and Alarm Power-ups (like ringing really loud alarm if you are unresponsive) are included the Premium Version of Alarmy.Has anti-shutdown, so that you can't put the phone to shutdown when the alarm is ringing.Set "Challenges" in order to put the alarm to sleep.Alarmy : It is a clock for heavy sleepers like myself.(Unlocked/Modded versions of all the following apps are available, just make sure to use Brave Browser to prevent from downloading malware and clicking on malware websites, pretty much the top results of the google search have the mod available, so you can download from there) All these apps work great in their free version but if you want to use all the features you can donwload their modded versions. So here is the list of apps that I use and they really have helped me reduce the distractions. Well I made a list of apps and extensions to help you guys and they all have been tested by me to eliminate the distractions. Scrolling mindlessly on social media? and wasting hours of your precious time? and thinking, "how can I escape this cycle, I wake up, study for some one hour or shit, and then take a 5 min break only to realise that whole day has passed, regretting your life" and saying "well I still have tomorrow, I will do better." ![]()
